The Cuckoo Calls

For Master Institute of Visual Cultures, I created the short film The Cuckoo Calls as my graduation project.

The film follows Barry, a bird who lives and works alongside his friendly robot companion. When a bird from the outside world calls him to leave, Barry is faced with a dilemma: explore the unknown or remain in the comfort of his familiar world. While the robot struggles with the idea of Barry leaving, he ultimately searches for a solution that allows both of them to move forward.

I was responsible for the full process, from concept and storyboard through to the final animation.
